UPGRUV.COM – The Strip District’s Room 16 was buzzing Friday night. Style and colorful personalities came together — all for a great cause: to help fight breast cancer. Men’s fashion guru David Alan brought everyone together.
The night might have been billed mainly as his clothing line’s formal launch party, but Alan was donating 100 percent of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society’s breast cancer initiatives; including research, support programs, and mission delivery services. ESPN SportsCenter anchor Jonathan “The Coach” Coachman served as the night’s emcee, getting the crowd rowdy for the dozen or so dudes that strutted the runway.
Upgruv’s own Justin LaBar was stylin’ along with Pittsburgh Steelers Arthur Moats, Jordan Dangerfield and Anthony Chickillo; WWE superstars Mojo Rawley, Rosa Mendes and Stu Bennett; Jason Carrion, of A&E’s Married at First Sight”; Paul Alexander of ROOT Sports and WTAE’s Mike Clark. DJ Bonics was in the booth.
